I have examined the accompanying Ordinance entitled

"Am Ordinance to repeal certain exactments relating to the

Law of Copyright."

I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the Governor's Instructions,

The depyright Act 1911 (1 & 2 Gee. 5 Ch.46) will, by virtue

of the previsions of Section 37(a) thereof, apply to the Colony on its

preclamation by the Geverner. Its application to the Colony necessitates

the repeal of the enactments mentioned in the Schedule to the Ordinan—

It is intended that the Preclamation shall be issued at the

same time.as the commencement to the Ordinance.
